Each Wednesday join our FREE children's playgroup for an hour session of fun, music, story and activities.
Each week there will be a different theme which is perfect for kids aged 5 years and under.
Date & Time: Every Thursday, 10am-11am.
Location: Out the front of Kmart.
No booking required.

Thursday 15 October - Fun With Boxes π¦
There will be endless possibilities this week at Playtime as we welcome back a new term with a whole lot of boxes! Create whatever you wish and play to your hearts content as we stretch into our imaginations with boxes of all shapes and sizes.
Surf’s up and we’re heading into a fun-filled Day at The Beach at Playtime! We’ll plan what to wear, pack our beach bags together and explore all of the exciting things we love to do by the seaside. Activities, story, craft and musical fun to be had.
Here we go, singing in the kitchen this week at Playtime. The kids will love playing along as we learn how to make spaghetti bolognese. Your host will even show them how to make spaghetti with a real spaghetti maker (out of paper of course!) Read along and help Bluey make a side salad for our meal to enjoy and keep the rhythm as we shake out the egg shakers to our favourite cooking tunes. Be prepared to chat about your favourite vegetables and dinners and don’t miss crafting your very own paper pizza at the craft table. Deliciosa!
Thursday 5 November - Kids In The Kitchen: Baking Desserts!
We mastered cooking dinners last week and now it’s time to try our cake baking skills! Join your hosts as they guide you through baking a special cake (pretend of course) and enjoy musical baking activities and games as we wait for our cake to bake in the oven. Sprinkle your crafty paper cupcakes with glitter and sprinkles at the craft table and play along to your favourite party tunes as we mix, stir, and roll throughout a fun and creative Playtime session
Argh me hearties! We’ll be on the search for gold this week at Playtime. Join in the fun and frivolities as we look for hidden treasure. Sing, dance and walk the plank if you dare, across shark infested waters. Craft your very own pirate patch and hook hand at the craft table and have fun with your friends as we hoist the sails and sail the seven seas!
Calling all Royal subjects to Playtime this week. Help our hosts get ready for the Royal Ball. They’ll need to find an outfit, learn manners and etiquette and master some dance moves so they can dazzle and sparkle. Craft your very own crown at the craft table and get ready for some sparkly fun. Feel free to come dressed up for the occasion!
Join in the Dino Stomp as we go searching for the Dinosaurs at Playtime this week. If you dare to cross the swamp and crawl through the jewel cave you may just find them! Explore your favourite dinosaurs as we consult the Dino Encyclopaedia and be sure to bring your brains full of dinosaur fun facts to share with your friends.
A magical session this morning for all of our little fairies and elves. Craft Fairy and Elf foam figurines at the craft table, use your elf skills to build something out of building blocks and learn the fairy ballet dance. A perfect playtime theme to lead into the magic of Christmas over the next 2 weeks…..
It certainly is starting to look like Christmas and we will have some fun welcoming in the magical time of year. Enjoy Christmas songs, activities, story and craft this week before we end the year next week on our extra special Christmas Special!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year so be sure to come and enjoy a fun Christmas Playtime session this week! Join your friends as we sing our way around the Christmas Tree, making special Christmas craft, reading favourite Christmas stories and ending the year of Playtime on a magical note. We’ll be farewelling lots of our friends off to big school too and wishing them well on their exciting adventures. Don’t miss our last Playtime session for the year!
A special thank you to all of the families who have joined us this year at our Playtime sessions. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed spending time with you all and look forward to seeing you and your friends again in the first week of February 2027.
